Your Energy Advantage - Energy Advantage Roofing & Solar - keeps the scam goingBroz's company is in violation of FTC, FCC and TCPA rules. The DOE and FERC is investigating as well.
Despite what he'd want you to believe by buying articles in Entrepreneur and Forbes magazines (technically paying accepted contributors for SEO fluff pieces in the Indian version of Forbes with a backlink on Forbes.com and an article on Enterpreneur.com written by a contributor who paid to join the magazine's Enterpreneur Leadership Network ®, Jeremiah Broz is still scamming people. Despite 4 failed businesses and countless personal bankruptcies, it appears he hasn't learned anything. His current scam,Energy Advantage Roofing & Solar is making hundreds if not thousands of unsolicited spam calls a day, in violation of numerous federal regulations including the FTC, FCC and TPCA. He has paid Indian press mills for fake press articles, which in and of itself is not a crime but using these articles to solicit business is. He bought over 100,000 Instagram followers - again, not in and of itself a crime, but a violation of FTC rules when used to solicit business with very heavy financial penalties. This includes fake reviews, and the FTC can also seek up to 10% of a company's global revenue from deceptive trade practices. The maximum civil penalty per violation is $51,744 for every instance. Homeowners who engage Energy Advantage Roofing & Solar are being threatened with liens and God knows what else.
The Scams They Are A Runnin'
I'd love to tell you that Jeremiah Broz's scams have great names, like the classic cons: the Spanish Prisoner, the Pigeon Drop or the Wire, but unfortunately
If you were targeted by the scammers at Energy Advantage Roofing & Solar your experience was probably a little like this:
- dozens of calls a day from an array of local and out-of-state numbers despite being on the no-call list (a violation of FCC rules)
- 3 different guys all named Eddie called the same day. They were 3 different guys from 3 different phone numbers all 3 had very different accents. Again, a federal violation.
- Kyle called at least 60 times over the course of 5 days. Kyle is an AI bot but you don't know that at first. He sounds just like a real person. But Kyle didn't disclose he's AI so Energy Advantage Roofing & Solar violates the FCC's federal rule mandating that robocallers (AI-callers are robocallers) disclose they are AI on the call in order to follow the one-to-one rule. Failure to do so can result in a $1500 fine per each call.
- you were told that you went on their website or interacted with their content even when you didn't, which of course constitutes false misleading statements said in order to get you to do business with them. This is fraud... and a violation of federal rules.
- there are more than 100 fake Google reviews. Each fake review can elicit a fine from the FTC in the amount of $51,000.
- you look at some of the documented, older reviews by clients who have let many reviews across the internet and you learn that Jeremiah Broz personally threatened them.
It's as much about the little scams as the big stuff:
- Jeremiah Broz paid for his Instagram followers
- the Forbes article about him is a paid promoton
- so it the Entrepreneur pieces. Bo paid contributors for SEO.
- A lot of Google reviews are fake
